FÊTE “TWERK IT*ALL”
FÊTE “TWERK IT*ALL” is a musical and dancing QTBIPOC* manifesto.
FÊTE “TWERK IT*ALL” emerges from the choreographic work of the weekly twerkshops at Tanzhaus Zürich (initiated by Nimia Gracious) as well as the musical and dance practice of the Dancehall-Queen of Switzerland Lateena and her group of dancers The Doll'z.
FÊTE “TWERK IT*ALL” stands for a reclaiming of the bodies and sexuality of Black women and queer people, and breaks with colonial demands.
FÊTE “TWERK IT*ALL” stands for emancipation, movement and collectivity.
FÊTE “TWERK IT*ALL” shows us all* how we can confront mechanisms of exclusion with radical and artistic openness.
