About us

Dance can move the immovable. We’ve been working on that since 1996.

Tanzhaus Zürich is the most important production house for contemporary dance in Zurich, and one of the most significant in Switzerland.

We support dancers and choreographers through every phase of their work: thinking, rehearsing, producing, showing and moving forward. We focus on long-term relationships, foster emerging talent, and work closely with the local scene.

Since the 2026/2027 season, Guillaume Guilherme and Lisa Letnansky have led the house as co-directors. Their goal: to open this house up even further. For more styles, more communities, more people. Not just becoming accomplices with the dance scene — but with the audience too.
