Artas Community Event 2026: Einblick, Austausch, Bewegung
An event by artasfoundation
Talk with staff of the artasfoundation about their cultural projects in conflict regions, share your thoughts and ideas, and connect with artists, supporters, and the artasfoundation community.
This year, we’re inviting you not only to watch, listen and exchange ideas, but also to take part. Kilian Haselbeck and Meret Schlegel from Cie zeitSprung will guide you through a short participatory dance experience. Together, you’ll explore their approach to participation, which plays an important role in many artistic projects in conflict regions, and experience for yourselves how working with non-professional participants can become part of these projects.
In conversation with Rana Yazaji, Director of artasfoundation, Dagmar Reichert, President of the Foundation Board, Rahel Leupin, Managing Director of artlink, and other guests, you’ll learn more about socially engaged art in fragile contexts. artasfoundation will also share insights into its current projects and look back at some highlights from the past year.
artasfoundation
Every year, artasfoundation initiates and runs several art projects with people in regions affected by war or violent conflict, together with artists and local partner organisations. It also supports mediation processes through artistic interventions and connects initiatives internationally.
