Traumgirl // Bühnenperformance

Kim is an actress and narrator. She is also a sex worker, has sold soap, is a bar woman, German, Polish ... In Traumgirl, Kim negotiates how it is to work on the border of "real work", performance and so-called "dirty work". Traumgirl is the female counterpart to the solo performance Traumboy about male sex work and also moves between documentary theatre and autofiction. The solo questions not only female sex work, but sex and work in general against the background of a neoliberal society. What can a woman reveal about herself? What not? And who pays the price?

Since 2012, Hellmann has been creating projects in changing collaborations that interweave performance, language, music and movement in many different ways. Hellmann's works examine bodies, bodily relationships and desire, while questioning social norms in the fields of sexuality, human and animal rights. Since 2018, Hellmann has been performing with his fictional character Soya the Cow, a vegan drag cow, and as Soya he has released the solo piece Dear Human Animals (2020), the album Purple Grass (2021) and several music videos. In 2023, Hellmann's work as Soya the Cow led to residencies in Taiwan and Brazil as well as a cultural award from the City of Zurich. From 2024, Soya the (House) Cow is one of Tanzhaus Zurich's accomplices.
