The Zurich-based dance artist Diane Gemsch studied at Fontys Hoogschool voorde Kunsten in Tilburg as well as at the Royal Conservatory of Dance in Antwerp where she graduated with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance. Since then she has appeared in various stage productions and in interdisciplinary or site-specific performances at home and abroad. She also teaches contemporary dance and works as a choreographer for theatre productions. Her own works have been awarded several prizes.

Diane Gemsch
Diane's training is all about the joy of dancing. From a physical perspective, the aim is to develop a feeling for organic movement and to work on technique. The focus is always on trusting one's own body, which is capable of everything. The class starts with a Yoga- and Pilates-inspired warm-up. The second part includes technical details on the floor and in the upright position, culminating in choreography, improvisation and partnering. The training is suitable for deepening what has already been learned as well as for rediscovering one's own capacities.
