Accessibility

Thz kulturinklusiv

Tanzhaus Zürich creates spaces for moving moments – for everyone. That is why we are actively committed to making our house accessible to as diverse an audience as possible, including people with disabilities, refugees and those with less means.

Since 2017, we have been the proud carrier of the label Kultur inklusiv by the Swiss organisation for disabled people Pro Infirmis. This means that we open and adapt our house explicitly for people with mobility impairments, with hearing and visual impairments as well as with cognitive and mental impairments.

This also applies to our little guests: Children with disabilities are very welcome in our Tanzhaus young courses. If you are interested, please contact us at young@tanzhaus-zuerich.ch

Accessibility

All our training and event spaces, our café/bar Nude and our toilets and dressing rooms are wheelchair accessible. Our main stage, Bühne 1, also has an induction loop that we use for suitable events.

Arrival and parking

To get to Tanzhaus, we recommend using public transport to the Limmatplatz stop and then taking Lettensteg and Kloster-Fahr-Weg or Wasserwerkstrasse. We advise wheelchair users to take Wasserwerkstrasse. Wheelchair users who would like to come by car and need a parking space, please call us.

Tickets

Tickets to our performances are free for one accompanying person of visitors with disabilities. Please contact us for a reservation.
All of our services and events are free of charge for people with type N or F residence permits and those with protection status S.
Students of ZHdK, La Manufacture and HF Bühnentanz as well as holders of a KulturLegi or an IV card receive tickets for CHF 10.

Triggers

If it applies, we point out possible triggers such as violence, darkness, volume, stroboscope etc. in the details of an event.
