Accomplices Model Residencies Show-Off Studio Time Mediation

Tanzhaus Zürich has three studios at Wasserwerkstrasse 127a.

They can be used as follow:

  • Studio 1 can be rented in four-hour slots for 50 Francs.
  • Studio 2 is reserved for research and development residencies.
  • Studio 3 is primarily a space for the Tanzhaus accomplices. Other local artists can use the studio free of charge for rehearsals and research when it is available.
  • We further rent out Studio 2 and Bühne 2 on free weekends (prices and information upon request).

We rent out Studio 1 (approx. 100m2, mirror wall, rehearsal sound system, work light) from Monday to Sunday in four-hour slots of 50 Francs each for courses, workshops and rehearsals.

  • Slot 1: 9:00–13:00
  • Slot 2: 13:30–17:30
  • Slot 3: 18:00–22:00
Conditions
  • The activities in Studio 1 are not published on our website.
  • No audience events are allowed.
  • There is no technical support.
  • The terms of use of the Tanzhaus rental agreement apply.

Studio 2 (approx. 115m2, rehearsal sound system, work light) is reserved for research and development residencies for local, national and international artists.

Through the Tanzhaus Zürich residency programme, artists receive time and space in an inspiring environment and have the opportunity to encounter the Tanzhaus team and the local community.

Studio 3 (approx. 100m2 , rehearsal sound system, work light) can be used on a daily or weekly basis and free of charge by our accomplices as well as the following when it is free:

  • Professional contemporary dance artists who are part of a Zurich-based community – or
  • Artists who have completed the Contemporary Dance Bachelor at Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK or the HF ZUB study programme – as well as
  • Tanzhaus Zürich professional training teachers
Conditions
  • External artists can only use Studio 3 for rehearsals and research – no public events, Sharings, courses or workshops.
  • No technical support.
  • The maximum period of use is two weeks.
  • The Tanzhaus terms of use apply.
