Professional Training Contemporary

This technical dance training is based on the experience Michael Langeneckert has accumulated over 30 years of working as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer in contemporary dance. Drawing on floorwork technique, rhythm, and flow, the class combines bodywork, conditioning, open structures, floorwork principles, and physical phrases through space.

The training begins with a detailed warm-up that moves through all layers of the body, preparing dancers to explore floorwork technique in both short and extended sequences. From there, physical intensity and complex movement structures build, incorporating acrobatic elements.

The primary aim of the class is to achieve a continuous flow of movement, cultivating lightness in the body, heightened awareness, rhythm, and refined movement quality.
