Professional Training Contemporary

Lois Alexander

In this training, participants will develop strength, precision, and dynamic movement skills through explorations grounded in contemporary and improvisational dance styles. The class begins with somatic awareness and grounding, followed by a technical warm-up that builds stamina and expands into progressively larger movement patterns in space. The session culminates in a longer choreographed sequence that invites personal interpretation, creating space to deepen physical presence, musicality, and expressive range.
