Lick-Horn

Based on the famous medieval tapestry series La Dame à la Licorne (The Lady and the Unicorn), Lick-Horn is the second part of a diptych that began with Knight-Night (2022). The six panels that compose the series—representing the five senses and the sixth, enigmatic panel, À mon seul désir—structure and frame this new collaboration.

Taking two sister forms, the project unfolds in two distinct modalities: Lick-Horn adopts a frontal stage set-up, while Baby-Horn invites the audience in through a “stage-on-stage” or in-situ configuration.

The presentation will focus on Baby-Horn, allowing the relationship with the audience to be refined and the forms and sensory scores to be sketched out.
