Professional Training Contemporary

Professional Training Contemporary
The training is led by Antoine Ragot

A training based on the Axis Syllabus principles, using Contact Improvisation as a warm-up and combining biomechanics with playful exploration.

This training is based on the principles of the Axis Syllabus and uses Contact Improvisation as a warm-up strategy. At its core are efficient movement, coordination and dynamic alignment – biomechanics meets playful exploration. Over the course of the series, set phrases are developed that alternate between floor work and standing material, refined from slow to fast, sharp qualities. Participants experience a compelling, energised space that fosters curiosity and precision. The practice enriches dance skills through functional tools and a deep body awareness. The main aim is to expand movement possibilities while supporting sustainable dancing.

What awaits you in this training (skills):
40% phrase work
25% biomechanics, coordination & energy efficiency
20% stamina & flow
15% Contact Improvisation & partnering

Additional information: Professional Training with Antoine Ragot is run in collaboration with Tanzbüro Basel and IG Tanz Zentralschweiz Luzern.
