Professional Training Contemporary

Professional Training Contemporary
The training is led by Caroline Finn

A structured, varied and highly physical training, drawing on a collection of techniques, experiences and practices ranging from Graham to Gaga.

The training focuses on an energised sequence of technical exercises and phrases, allowing participants to find their centre, articulate their joints, and play with both releasing weight and activating muscle to drive movement. In a seamless transition to more technically demanding and dynamic phrases, the body employs a wide range of textures, moving through space, embracing the floor and flying through the air. Participants can expect to activate a whole spectrum of dynamics, build strength and stamina, and discover a rich fluidity in the body. They are challenged in their technical skills, while also being invited to let go, “eat up space” and immerse themselves in a full-body experience of the exercises and choreographic phrases on offer.

What awaits you in this training (skills):
10% gentle body activation
50% technical + dynamic phrase work
15% floorwork
25% sweat/stamina
100% joy! 😉
