A Gathering: Sisterhood & Makramee
Lea Moro, Lisa Biedlingmaier
As part of the development process for Six Sisters, Lisa Biedlingmaier and Lea Moro invite you to a discussion on sisterhood. The focus will be on the practice of sisterhood, which we will explore through reading and discussing texts together, as well as creating unique macramé strands and shapes. In doing so, we will forge connections—both literal and metaphorical—and enhance networking among participants. We view sisterhood as an opportunity to create utopian spaces that promote community, empowerment, as well as care and solidarity beyond traditional family structures.
Drinks and light snacks will be provided.
