Professional Training Contemporary

Christina Mertzani

The class focuses on technique and performance of movement. Simple exercises train participants to get in and out of the floor safely and rapidly, to move with both speed and agility and to cover as much space as possible using one's full potential. Through more complex, choreographic sequences and a focus on intention, special attention is placed on how to perform movements. In this pursuit, both individual differences and team work are taken into consideration. The main goal of this class is to open the senses, to communicate through movement and to gain more satisfaction through dancing.
