This course is aimed at dance-enthusiastic teenagers between 11 and 20 years old. The course offers a mix of flowing movements, floor work, and improvisation, and includes play with moments of balance and off-balance.

Iris’ dance lessons begin with an intensive warm-up consisting of various exercises from jazz and modern dance, with particular attention to solid dance technique, through which the muscles are strengthened and stretched and better body awareness is developed. Iris’ dance style is a mix of large, flowing movements, floor work, and improvisation, and often includes play with moments of balance and off-balance. She considers a harmonious connection between dance and music essential, which is reflected in her choreographies. She also considers it important that her students can train in a relaxed atmosphere and, alongside targeted guidance in developing choreographies, have enough room for their own interpretation and individual development as dancers.
