Elenita Queiróz: Warning for Contemplation Sections
In Warning for Contemplation Sections,
Elenita Queiróz explores silence as an act of resistance. Together,
four dancers enter a universe of struggle, ferocity, fatigue, the
scarcity of collapse and mutual support. Warning for Contemplation Sections is a choreographed manifesto. A call to a silent, raw, lurking and contemplative form of rebellion.
LA-MI-LA-SI collective: SEHNSUCHTSKOLLEKTIONEN
How can the longing for "more space in the head" or the desire to "sink into the ground" be experienced physically? The project SEHNSUCHTSKOLLEKTIONEN
by Andrea Frei and the LA-MI-LA-SI collective is dedicated to longings -
the big and the small, the everyday and the extraordinary, the real and
the supposed – and explores how the body can be set in motion through
radical self-care.
TanzPlan Ost
Over the
course of a year, the two TPO Associated Artists Elenita Queiróz and
Andrea Frei each created a contemporary dance piece. They developed
these at different locations in the region. They regularly opened up
their creative processes to a local audience in encounter, workshop and
mediation formats. The two resulting productions will be presented as a
double evening on three stages in Eastern Switzerland as part of the TPO
Tour.
TanzPlan Ost has been promoting local contemporary dance
creation and supra-regional exchange for over 10 years. The TPO Tour is
the conclusion of the first three-part cycle consisting of TPO
ChoreoLab, TPO Associated Artist Programme and TPO Tour.
