Eugénie Rebetez

Rendez-vous

Welcome, Bienvenue, Welcome... A young dancer dreaming of a life as a prima ballerina. A storyteller and musician who is severely visually impaired from birth. A retired actress not willing to retire yet. For Rendez-vous, choreographer Eugénie Rebetez, who is well-known as a solo artist, invites six different stage performers to gather around her piano. Based on Rebetez' songs, they search for ways in which two bodies can coexist, listen, touch, support or carry each other without losing themselves. Oscillating between spectacle and poetry, Rebetez creates an intimate cabaret that harnesses the magic of the moment and draws its power from gentleness.
