living matter(s)
Plastic is in the air we breathe and in the water we drink, contaminating the world and permeating all ecosystems and living things. living matter(s) explores ways of approaching this omnipresent, both practical and problematic material. Three struggling performers wade through a dystopian landscape. Together they try to survive in this toxic world, to create a place of care and togetherness and to connect with their plasticised environment. In the process, unexpected connections between human and non-human bodies, sprawling assemblages of plastic and skin and hybrid ecosystems emerge.
The performance on September 15 will be live-streamed.
