#knochen

Bones play an essential part in the history of evolution. Almost everything we think we know about extinct species and our human ancestors is founded on the study of skeletal matter. Based on unearthed bones, ancient rituals are re-enacted and past ways of life as well as our ancestors’ fates are discovered.

The piece #knochen (#bones) is danced with bones: they serve as tools, weapons, furniture and exchange currency. #knochen is a passionate exploration of evolution that races through epochs, asking itself and the young audience the question: What has happened on planet Earth so far? What is going on in the present moment? And what is yet to happen?
