Professional Training Contemporary

Professional Training Contemporary
The training is led by Ivana Balabanova

This course explores a performative fusion of street and contemporary dance, understanding the body as a whole and creating space for physical intensity and artistic expression.

Building on Ivana’s research project Code#9, the practice develops a movement vocabulary with a focus on musicality, precision and presence. The training combines floorwork, improvisation and rhythmic tasks with influences from martial arts, offering tools to explore bodily plasticity, coordination and dynamics. Through structured exercises, dancers sharpen their timing and clarity while also working on their personal expression.

What awaits you in this training (skills):
20% floor work
30% improvisation techniques
30% group work
20% stamina
