This class brings together a dynamic mix of improvisation tasks, floorwork, partnering and coordination exercises.

By exploring varied dynamics, different movement triggers, mindful breathing, changing levels and spatial connections within the group, participants sharpen their body awareness. At the same time, they are invited to question ingrained physical habits and thought patterns. At its core, the class is about discovering each person’s unique essence, highlighting their individual strengths as movers, and awakening a deep enjoyment of effort.

Inbar Elkayam

After completing training at the Dance and Theater Academy of Nadin Bomer in Israel in 2016, Inbar Elkayam joined the Carmela Dance Group under the direction of Noa Shiloh. During this time, Inbar Elkayam had the opportunity to work with renowned Israeli choreographers such as Gilad Yerushalmi, Doron Raz, Merav Dagan, Maya Briener and others. During the Covid pandemic, Inbar Elkayam took part in the MASA training programme of the Kibbutz Dance Company and was later accepted as a dancer into the company. In 2022, Inbar Elkayam performed with Leineroebana (Netherlands), before moving to Zurich in 2023, where Inbar Elkayam now focuses on choreographing and teaching dance classes to various groups in Switzerland, Israel and Europe.
