Rykena/Jüngst is an artistic duo working between Hamburg and Munich. Since 2019, their works have been created in continuous co-production with Kampnagel Hamburg and HochX Munich, and have been presented at various venues and festivals, including brut Vienna, the Outnow Festival Bremen, Hellerau Dresden, and fabrik Potsdam. Their production SHE LEGEND was invited to Tanzplattform 2022 at HAU/Hebbel-am-Ufer and to the FREESPACE Festival Hongkong. From a queer-feminist perspective, they adress body politics, allyship, participation, and accessibility in their work. In collaboration with other colleagues, they conduct intensive research into developing artistic aesthetics of access, incorporating audio description and sign language.
