Professional Training Contemporary

Bruno Catalano

The class is strongly based on release technique and gives attention to floor work. The aims of the training are:

  • to establish a smooth, soft, confident and at the same time clear and sharp relationship with the floor, as if it were a dance "partner";
  • to better absorb the impact with the floor while executing movements based on the relation between weight and gravity going up and down;
  • to dance an extended dynamic phrase with many changes of levels and directions, without losing power, softness, focus and presence.
