The Female Bang

Gestures, actions and movement patterns have been historically shaped over generations and have informed and settled in the female collective subconscious. The Female Bang invites us into a world where these physical codes are laid bare, with the complexity of these physical archives creating a multiple reality. The following questions vibrate in space: To whom does our body belong? What does feminism want and what do I want?

Fleshy Interface
The Female Bang takes place within the framework of the cross-institutional festival Fleshy Interface. The festival is initiated by Neumarkt in cooperation with Cabaret Voltaire, Fabriktheater, Gessnerallee, Helferei, Literaturhaus, Schauspielhaus, Kunsthalle, Shedhalle, Tanzhaus, Theater Winkelwiese and ZHdK.
