The term "scroll" refers to the vertical and horizontal scrolling through content that makes up a web page, an application, a video game and so on. Scrolling is an act that can be interpreted in various ways: as a symbol of capitalism, an expression of extreme consumerism, a means of escape, a display of behaviorism, or even a source of disinformation. At the same time, scrolling is like a vast sea that provides access to ideas, objects and creations, representing a window to the world. In this world, we have the power to control the speed of change, the immediate and what we do or do not want to see. But is our freedom of action truly real in this context? What factors condition what we perceive? Are we truly free within this dynamic? These are some of the questions UNAIUNA will be exploring during their two-week residency at Tanzhaus Zürich.
