Miniaturen/Miniaturas

Miniatures/Miniaturas focuses on what life is like for the younger members of society. What opportunities do they have? What do they perceive as happiness? What would they consider to be even greater happiness? What does freedom mean? What goals do they have?

Miniatures/Miniaturas is an international co-production and was developed with children from Argentina and Switzerland, allowing the audience a glimpse of the realities of their contemporaries in another part of the world. MAFALDA draws attention to the global context of children’s worlds, their differences and similarities. Do children from different walks of life, living in different conditions, still share needs and experiences? Are their ideas of happiness similar or even the same?
