Drag Story Time

DRAG STORY TIME TURNS THREE!

It all started with a brand-new book that Brandy Butler found in a queer bookstore in Philadelphia: the story of a little boy who wanted to transform himself into a mermaid. Inspired by the book that reminded Brandy of an admired local drag performer, she set out to make the world of drag accessible to young children. Three years and dozens of performances later, Drag Story Time has become a cult favourite of kids and parents alike. The message has grown from not only showing children drag, but also gender diversity, while teaching empathy and inclusion and encouraging kids not only to be good allies to others, but most of all to themselves.

June 19 marks the three-year anniversary of Drag Story Time and will include a DJ, drag performances, makeup artists, balloons and, as always, the chance for young kids to create new versions of themselves.

Coming and leaving possible at any time.

Remaining tickets are available at the box office on site. Limited number of seats - first come, first served.
