Anna Heinimann is a Zürich-based dance-maker and mother. She teaches, creates and performs throughout Switzerland. From 2012 to 2019, she was artistic co-director together with Luzius Engel of Kollektiv F in Bern. The collective creates pieces for young audiences and was associated artist at Dampfzentrale Bern in the seasons 2017/18 and 2018/19. Since 2019, Anna has been accompanying Kollektiv F as a strategic member and in 2020 she showed her first work The Female Bang, in co-production with Tanzhaus Zürich and Dampfzentrale Bern. Since 2023, she has been performing for Team Tartar and Stefanie Inhelder. Anna obtained a MA Dance in Teaching and Coaching Dance Professionals from the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK in June 2023. With her work Die Idee findet ihren Weg – eine Toolbox für kollektive Prozesse im Tanz she received the ZHdK promotion award.She teaches creative dance for children at Musikschule Konservatorium Zürich.

Inside Out is a physical trip characterized by the excitement of playfulness, musicality and technique. The idea of working inside out is manifested on three layers: we sharpen our sense of collectivity within the space and the group. Simultaneously we draw the line from states to shapes and apply our explorations on physical sensations into our technique, where we especially focus on the moments of going in and out the floor. The exploration of physical sensations is based on our understanding about the different structures of bones, muscles, skins and organs. By connecting to musicality, space and the others we understand our own body and its abilities from the inside out.
