#THISISBEAUTY is a dance-monologue to celebrate Lisi Estaras' 50th anniversary as a dancer. "I was always concerned with the place of words in dance," Lisi says. "What is the performer thinking while executing movements? To say what we are saying is not always the same as to show what we are saying."

Taking inspiration from the work of other women her age as well as from the work of Ludwig Wittgenstein, the dancer and choreographer is currently creating an autobiographical physical fiction which questions the absurd limits of communication.

The work-in-progress sharing will be followed by a short audience discussion.
