ABGESAGT: Liebe üben

Nora and Ives, an actress and a dancer, explore love. They ask themselves and others: What do you see when you imagine a romantic relationship? Wishes, role models, ideas... What is cliché and what is true?

She is in love with him – he is married to a man.

When she is in love, she loses herself, makes a fool of herself – he misses the tingling, the new.

Together they try things out, come closer, push each other away. Kissing until they can't breathe, arguing until sparks fly. Love needs to be practiced, over and over again. Because it is part of life, like breathing.

Physically, performatively, emotionally: Liebe üben ("Practicing Love") deals with possible aspects of romantic relationships in a very personal and relaxed way and also talks openly about homosexuality. It is a play about something that concerns all of us and inspires us to think about our own desires – and maybe even to exchange them.
