VITAMINA is a cooperation between Alessandra Ferreri and Joshua Vanhaverbeke, who are both fascinated by raw human behaviour. They see their work as an attempt to process modern existence through choreographic practice. VITAMINA is developing a language based on the new semantics of our post-internet, neoliberal turbo-society, with a particular interest in the display of excess and representations of the obscene. They consider these as a fundamental aesthetic phenomena of an emerging contemporary mythology, which is swiftly transforming and expanding our reality.

LENTOxVIOLENTO
During their two-week residency at Tanzhaus Zürich, VITAMINA will be working on LENTOxVIOLENTO, which is the expression of the eternal human desire for growth and progress. "It’s the supremacy of the fast lane, an ideology of speed freaks," the collective says. "It’s the belief that the only way out is through; That our only hope to escape the flaws of the present is to keep accelerating, thrusting forth at staggering pace, punching through the threshold of existence, shattering and splintering into sublimation. We're not interested in reforming or preservation, we're loyal to speed itself."
The work-in-progress Sharing will be followed by a brief audience discussion.
