UNAIUNA was born from the artistic interests of Laura Lliteras and Marina Fullana. After studying Classical Dance, Contemporary Dance and Choreography at the Institut del Teatre in Mallorca, they became part of the Young IT Dance Company under the direction of Catherine Allard. In 2017, they decided to create their own artistic company, aiming to elaborate on the discoursed from their academic training in combination with techniques of unlearning based on humor, irony and criticism. The piece Doses (Premio SóloDosenDanza 2016 and Art Jove 2011) was followed by All Inclusive, which was selected by the ACIELOABIERTO 2019 and the Contact Zones festivals. Their next piece took them back to their origins: Galejar was created by four women who travel to rural Mallorca through songs and movement. They are currently working on their new project SCROLL, an immersive experience exploring the edges between physical dance and new technologies such as artificial intelligence, which will premiere in June 2024 at Teatre Principal, Mallorca.
