Born in Zurich in 1970, Nicole Seiler trained in dance and theater at the Scuola Teatro Dimitri in Verscio (CH), at the Vlaamse Dansacademie in Bruges (B), and at the Rudra Béjart School in Lausanne (CH). As a performer she has participated in numerous creations by Philippe Lizon, Omar Porras, Guilherme Botelho, Philippe Saire and Massimo Furlan. Nicole Seiler founded her company in 2002, and she has been working internationally since 2004.

In her artistic approach, choreographic work on different formats is of great importance, and to date she has created about 30 projects : dance and new technologies, videos and film, choreographic installations, performances and site-specific works. The main conceptual themes of her works are the relationship between image and sound, dance in relation to language and voice, description of movement, and the memory of movement from a historical or personal point of view.

In 2009 Nicole Seiler won the Prix Culturel Vaudois Danse from the Fondation Vaudoise pour la Culture and in 2021 she was awarded with a Swiss Performing Arts Award.
