Maria’s research explores the dramaturgical potential of the body, borrowing figures from the natural world which she studies and brings into movement in order to find humanity in the non-human. Through her interdisciplinary approach, she collaborates with various artists, bringing the choreographic language into conversation with different mediums. Since graduating from the Zurich University of the Arts' choreography master program in July 2023, Maria has been working with Tempio del Futuro Perduto from Miland, while implementing independent projects in the European scene. She recently started venturing into music writing with the support of the composers of the music group l’écume des jours and producer Claudio Matta.
