Freelance singer, guitarist, actress, composer and lyricist for 35 years. She fronted the cult children’s band Schtärneföifi for 23 years. She has been performing in independent theatre on the German-speaking stages of Europe since 2001, most notably with Mass & Fieber (Brigitte and Niklaus Helbling), Theater Club 111 (Meret Matter), Les Reines Prochaines & friends since 2018 and Team Tam Tam (Barbara Weber) since 2023. She has directed the choir of the sogar theatre since 2018 and has realised various integrative projects and the Psychor for people with and without psychiatric experience for the Wildwuchs Festival.
Sibylle Aeberli was awarded the City of Zurich’s Werkjahr in November 2019 and the Basel Culture Prize in 2022 with Les Reines Prochaines & friends.
