Lisa Biedlingmaier
Lisa Biedlingmaier, born in 1975 in Chelyabinsk, lives and works in Zurich. She graduated from the Art Academy in Stuttgart in 2003 and earned a Master’s in Fine Arts at ZHdK in 2019. Her work spans installations, sound performances, and visual media, often exploring the interplay between personal and collective experiences.She co-founded the collective M. Paradoxa, curating projects at the intersection of craft, art, and science. Her solo exhibition mem – on being light and liquid was presented at Kunsthalle Winterthur in 2021. She has also participated in group shows such as The Vibration of Things (Fellbach Triennial, 2022), LINIENTANZ (Kunst(Zeug)Haus, 2023), and ReCoCo (Museum of Bat Yam, Tel Aviv). Biedlingmaier was nominated for the Swiss Art Awards in 2020 and 2022, and received grants for research in Japan, publication, and projects from various institutions.
