Dorothea Rust
Dorothea Rust studied art, MAS Culture/Gender Studies and CAS Writing in Art and Culture at ZHdK; apprenticeships in new and postmodern dance in Switzerland and New York. She works translocally and collaboratively with artists and musicians in performances, interventions and exhibition projects. She gives workshops and coaching in dance, performance and somatic body methods (including Alexander Technique), is a lecturer, networker, author and co-curator of performance, music and discourse platforms. Guiding principles: relational thinking, relationships with other living beings and organisms, as well as with that which is foreign and unsettling. Awarded twice with the Swiss Performance Prize, among others.
