PRISMA is the choreographic interpretation of the Etudes for Piano by Hungarian composer György Ligeti. Originally created as a 20-minute version for Monodrama Festival Luxembourg 2019, then titled Sketches with Ligeti, it toured to Kunstfest Weimar, Wonder Woman Festival Tuscany and Tanz*Hotel Vienna. Elisabeth is currently extending the solo to a full evening work during her two-week residency at Tanzhaus Zürich and residencies at Spam! Italy, An Lantair Stornoway, City Moves Aberdeen and Dance Base Edinburgh. The creation will focus on the two first books of Etudes for Piano by György Ligeti and the work will premiere and tour in 2023, in celebration of the composer’s 100th anniversary.
